Hi there, welcome to The I’mPerfect Mom.  I’m a 30-something Malaysian mom living in Seattle, WA with my family. I have two little girls, Rae and Sky, and sometimes, I write about them. My husband, Lokes, works for Microsoft, which is why we’re here. 

I’m a writer, mainly of short stories, and was published for the first time last year in a Malaysian collection called Dark City 2, published by MPH. My second short story will appear in MPH’s Urban Odysseys later this year. I am currently writing my first full collection.

In my previous life, I was a journalist of all things IT. Believe it or not, I used to run a video game magazine ;).

I love to blog and read in my spare time. I like translations and English writers of different ethnicities such as Khaled Housseini, Jhumpa Lahiri, VS Naipaul, Salman Rushdie, Elif Shaufik, Ha Jin, Kiran Desai, Milan Kundera and more. I’m also beginning to enjoy a few American writers, namely Tom Perrotta, Jeffrey Eugenides and Jodi Picoult. 

I also make greeting cards (check out my etsy store here) and am a hobby photographer.
