FYI, we are camping at Lake Pearrygin in Eastern Washington. It’s a full service camp site with running water and showers and we are “car camping”, so we’re not really roughing it. I always like to take along enough clothes line to run between trees and pins to hang wet clothes/suits, towels etc to dry. also, if you have to camp near someone not in your party, if you bring a large sheet or two and enough line you can make a ‘no peeping at me’ screen.
Have fun!

How about a litte pail or bucket and a little water scoopy thing – in case you need to get water from nearby source or to wash dishes. Wet wipes and some soap / detergent as well as antiseptic like Dettol? Or liquid antiseptic handwash

instead of a kettle, use a saucepan so you can use it to boil noodles or rice or hotdogs:)
we carry a small broom and dustpan to clean out the tent.
a small battery operated lantern is better than a flash light because you can set it down and it provides lots of light.
extra tarps to go over your tent in case of rain:) and you can use it for shade over your camp table.

Dude, you are screwed w/o an axe to chop the firewood. You need smaller pieces to get the fire goin’.
Meal tip: Boil a pot of water. Toss in ziplock bags full of eggs, diced ham, peppers, cheese. Boil until cooked. Wallah! A no mess omlet in a bag. (Don’t forget to squish up the eggs or have them pre-cracked and stirred in a pourable container). Have fun and get dirty! Camping rules.
Found ya through SMB.
