Someone give me a pill
Integers, variables, constants, factoring, commutative equations, distributive properties, inverse properties, anything divided by 0 is undefined.
I don’t even remember the Malay translations for these words, much less the meanings (we learn Math in Malay in Malaysia. Rad, eh?)
And to top of it all off, I’d been too cheap to buy the required latest edition of Beginner’s Algebra, but had purchased, instead, its cheaper (by US$80) immediate predecessor, and as a result, found myself trying to squint at the text belonging to the boy seated next to me because I was literally not on the same page as the instructor. Looks like I’ll have to fork out $100 for the damn text after all.

Just remember that these are the things that you need to learn to get your degree.
The keyword here is “learn”.
Good luck, Jenn!
I think the keyword here is actually ‘relearn’, Pelf

Algebra is my fav course but I hate calculus.
There are a few basic/important steps/formulas you need to remember. Once you master or understand that, Algebra will be a piece of cake for you.
I am sure you wil be fine. Don’t worry!!

Hi Jenn! Happy New Year and Selamat Belajar.
Actually Matematik made a lot more sense to me in english than it did in BM.
Do you remember all the photocopied textbooks that we used to have over here? Not that I would use one….
You know, there is not a single copy of the required texts in the library or even the county libraries. It’s a conspiracy!
