The one in the middle had been causing me quite some grief the last few months. A little more ignorance is truly bliss.

Yea they are. Wisdom teeth don’t get cleaned very well because they’re so deep in so this is decay. The black in the middle is the metal filling decayed also. In Malaysia I think its not compulsory to remove WT but here apparently they get removed when kids get into their teens (or when they appear) because they are of no use and cant get clean enough!
Your aunt may have been a little low on essential minerals when she was pregnant. Babies really can such the calcium right out of your teeth!
Be nice if they did just pop out, though. I only grew 3 wisdom teeth (what does that say about me?) and they’re all impacted. They don’t give me a lick of trouble though, knock on wood.

Good grief, what are these? Your teeth? Why are they black?

Removing wisdom teeth is only compulsory in the US if your dentist figures you have money.

Mer: Now you tell me!
Pelf: Wow she’s lucky! I dont think they do, no. Not unless they’re badly decayed (and not even that for me!).

Yikes, those look nasty! Mine decayed when I was in my teens, so they’ve come off.
Belated birthday greetings, Jenn.
