Okay this is long due.

The lovely Mumsgather tagged me a few days ago, giving me the Rockin’ Girl Blogger award (which I’m going to hotlink, lady, because it’s getting late hehe - sorry ah…):

Thanks lady. I’m not sure what to do with this but any award where I’m called a ‘girl’ is a good award :D

So who do I think rocks?

  1. Mamatulip (definitely first ‘coz you’re probably the only girl I know who has such an extensive knowledge of music - plus you really do rock).
  2. Sweetisu, because this woman has seen and been through so much in her life. Jenn is a migrant from China, survived cancer, has two beautiful children, and is still going through lifelong treatment for her medical condition. You definitely rock!
  3. Elizabeth Wong, again! This woman is just extraordinary for all her work as an activist and humanitarian. I’m so proud she was from my alma mater. I know you’re probably cringing from the pinkness of the award, but hey, you’re the girl! I know you don’t have time to do this tag but nemind, you still rock.
  4. Sharon Bakar of Bibliobibuli. Without you, I would never have dared to venture beyond Patricia Cornwell. Thank you!
  5. Vien, for being supermom, both providing for her family financially and doing such a great job raising little Belle (and her upcoming bundle of joy - congrats again lady!). Vien rocks because despite doing it all, she still looks so together whenever we are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her in her photos. I salute thee, rockin’ workin’ girl!

    My. Thanks!

Only with my limited readership, I have to think real hard to come up with FIVE girl bloggers who I think rocks AND who reads my blog. (or is that not a prerequisite?!)

Like you, I was thrilled to be called a “girl”. Hahaha. Lets rock on! Woohoo!

  3. Vien

    Gee, you’re making me blushed.
