Watching A Bug’s Life for the 21,000th time:

Rae: Mommy, Hopper is wrong! Ideas are not dangerous things!

Mommy: That’s right, sweetie.

Rae: Ideas are good things. They make our brains THINK!

Mommy: I’m glad you know that.

Rae: And ants do NOT serve grasshoppers!

Mommy: No they don’t!

Rae: Hopper said that because he doesn’t have a good heart. He has a bad heart. He MUST have a good heart!

Mommy: Do you have a good heart?

Rae: YES I DO!

At this point I am speechless with pride.
