Driving home today after school, I gave Rae a piece of caramel that Daddy had snuck into the car this morning because it was my favourite type of candy.
Chewing away happily, she said to me, “Mommy, I love you.”
Awww.
“Why baby?”
“I love you when you give me candy.”
“Oh? You don’t love me when I don’t give you candy?”
“No.”
Very matter-of-factly.
“Mommy loves you even though you don’t give me candy.”
“Well, that’s your problem.”
Priceless.
ROTFL! Did she actually say, “that’s your problem?” My gosh, where did she learn that phrase from?
Yes she did. Probably from one of the kids at school coz I’m not taking the blame for THAT little gem
Good grief! LOL I was saying to d one day: imagine if they r like this NOW, what WILL they be like as teens!? hehehehehee
