I believe it aired on a "men's" cable channel called SpikeTV - they had a show that was entirely made up of clips from Japanese gameshows. There were lots of people going through all sorts of torturous obstacle courses - but this, THIS was the section that REALLY had us crying with laughter. Thanks for linking to the clip. Made it an even better way to wake up on a Friday morning. I remember seeing this very bit!
