In the car, watching A Bug’s Life, for the 114th time.
Raeven: Mommy?
Mommy: Yes, baby?
Raeven: Why does Hopper have a vagina like mine?
I thought I’d start with something funny because two days ago, Raeven bonked her head, hard, and had to be taken to the emergency room where she was diagnosed as having suffered a minor concussion (she was throwing up, couldn’t see, wanted to sleep). She’s fine now but needless to say, it was a scary start to the week. And judging from her powers of observation of cartoon characters on an 8″ screen, her head is okay too.
It’s been a rough week, peeps. Gonna just watch my Netflix, er, flicks and read my books, basically just take it easy before my head falls off.

So glad Raeven is back to her funny self. I don’t recall that about the Bug’s Life. Must watch it again sometime.
That must have been scary; I hope you didn’t have to wait at the ER for too long. ER’s here are notoriously known for long waiting lines. We were there with our 6DAY old fiona and waited for 6.5 hours before an actual doctor saw her, for a whopping 8 minutes.

we are hanging on. still no power but we have a gas fireplace so we’ve been camping out in the living room since the storm. the kids are having a blast we built them a tent and played wayang. first flood then snow now windstorm tak habis2 malapetaka! prob will last til fri so we are hoping and praying.

OMG! Thank God Rae is ok. Anyway, just bring her for another scan/check to be doubly sure that everything’s ok. Well, i had a similar scare last Sunday nite when Sher’s thumb was squashed by a steel door. Also waited like ages at the ER & got really cheesed off when the nurse commented that my poor bb’s case is only a minor thing in the medical line! For God’s sake, blood was dribbling everwhere. WTF!! ANyway, the orthopaedic said the bone is cracked & the nail will eventually fall off. What a way for us to end off this year after all that had already befell us earlier!
