SPC November ’06: Glam’ it up

It’s been a while since I’ve done one. Last month’s theme (Imperfections) was really very difficult to be original with, seeing I have many imperfections that other people ALSO have. Posting macro shots of orange peel thighs and cracked heels didn’t really have that ZING! to it, you know?

But this month’s theme is fun. After all, no matter how much some of us no-nonsense girls pooh-pooh at the idea of getting all dolled and spa-ed up for no better reason than to attend a relative’s wedding or Christmas, deep inside, we really do want to get all dolled up for no good reason. Come to think of it, there is really no bad reason to, none at all!

Anyway, so I took one day out of being Yellow Face Woman (a derogatory Cantonese term used to describe housewives who have let themselves go), slapped on some lipstick, took off my glasses and snapped a few glam shots.

Me, without my glasses, with lipstick. That’s as glam as I can get. For now.
