The Indonesians got it right after all

November 17th, 2006 by jennemede

The Seattle Times reported in two articles today that pollution and forest fires may provide short-term reprieve to our growing global warming problem.

As some of you may be aware, Malaysia, Singapore and other neighbouring countries to Indonesia have been suffering for years from haze caused by forest fires. This year has been particularly bad.

Whaddya know, looks like the Indonesian government is really doing everyone a favour by blanketing the atmosphere with CO2 and soot.

All I can say is, the universe works in mysterious ways. It turns out we can now choose between these two evils: burn to death or choke to death.

Good shit.
