Pardon the pun. Or don’t!
Meet Jack. And his friend, Boo (look reeeaaallly hard for the ghost-shape).
Our first home-carved pumpkins.
They met today. And already getting along famously.
It’s going to be an interesting Oct 31st this year!

Actually it’s just HARD work, not difficult work.
They sell pumpkin carving kits, i’m sure u’ve seen them (about $5?). They come with small, long serrated knives that are easy to manipulate.
Make sure u buy CARVING pumpkins aka the ones they sell by the loads outside supermarkets. Buy a big onelah, small one hard to carvelah can’t hold properly.
You draw the stencil with a black marker. I bought the kit which came with some stencils which u can cut out, paste on the pumpkin and start carving!

Hey congratulations on moving in! Looks fabulously ‘homely’
What are the girls going to dress as? Buy lotsa candy from Costco and you’re all set.
TC - make sure you don’t make the cap/cover too small. Otherwise when the pumpkin starts to shrivel up, the cap falls inside! It happened to our neighbor.

Boy, they look scary. hehehehe…. Happy Halloween! Make sure you get lots and lots of candies. I remember one year while we were staying in Toronto, we ran out of candies. Next day, there were raw eggs splattered on our car
