SPC October ‘06: The I’mPerfect Mom’s #1 Imperfection

For 15 years, it’s been my one true friend.

It introduced me to my husband.

It gave me refuge from a verbally and physically abusive ex.

It sustained me financially.

But it has also made me inextricably dependent on it.

Addicted to it.

I have become one with it.

And it guards my attention jealously.

My obsession of my computer defies reason.

This addiction, one of my biggest imperfections, defines me.
