It sounds interesting. I'll pick it up at the Library next week.

Have you read Unconditional Parenting? Or Hold on to Your Kids? They're both eye opening as well.

I find acknowledging their feelings helps alot. Somehow they get calmer faster rather than ignoring them.

But sometimes, my kid does not how to really tell me how he feels..or I'm guessing wrongly..then we both end up truly frustrated. HA! HA! HA!

Karli: Yea, i really am learning so much. Thanks!!

Jenn: Yea, we all have loads to learn and improve on, no matter how old we are. The trick is to WANT to do that, isn't it?

Vien: I got mine second hand from Amazon!

Tracey: hehe isn't that hysterical? My challenge is in identifying which situations to do the emotion coaching and which to just let go.

SM: Hey you! How are u??

Hey! I'm reading it too! I also have found myself staring off into space while reading it... thinking about all the things I do everyday with Little A that I could/should be doing differently. I have also tracked her down and given her sorry hugs and kisses. Now if I could just get over the guilt so I can actually get through the book and start applying what I'm learning. We shall chat more and compare notes!

I've got tears now. It's all your fault. j/k!

I should check out this book. I know I have major improvments to do within myself, and for the sake of those around me as well. Thanks.
