Through Boing2, I’ve found another book swapping service called Bookmooch, started by John Buckman, who created Magnatunes, a great Creative Commons music label. Must say the site is very nicely designed.

Between Bookins and Bookmooch, I must say the signup process at Bookmooch is simpler and easier (no need to go back to your email and authenticate etc). I just got Mitch Albom’s The Five People You Meet in Heaven from Bookins but haven’t had the time to read it yet.

One thing with Bookins I don’t like is that it doesn’t ask you to reconfirm the books on your wishlist before sending it (thus automatically charging you $4.99 for the shipping from your CC). Wish they would so I know what books are going to be sent and don’t have like 10 coming my way (and having to fork out $50 bucks without even knowing) just because I have them on my wishlist.
